My comments on tutoring Musical : I have been involved with music in some form my entire life. Can you discern music in the random noise of the streets or the rustling of leaves. I tend to employ a quiet but direct approach to learning. Q and A sessions begin each session. We review the homework and past experiences of the student. I encourage students to write down their concerns and mark the areas of confusion at the time these arise. That way the students don't forget to bring them to my attention.
