My teaching style changes with my perception of a student's needs. My goal is to show students the path by which they can come to answers themselves. In discussing the subject matter with a student, I can gain a solid understanding of what he or she is capable. Using my patience and ability to effectively describe complicated concepts with analogies and visual aids, I have had great success. I have tutored at the middle, high school, and college levels since my first year of college in 2004. Since then, I have worked as a paraeducator for the Special Education Dept. of an elementary school where I worked with first and second graders. For my student teaching experience, I was an intern for a full year at a city middle school, working with 8th graders in the subjects of science (primary), communication arts, and math.
