Education is my passion, for both myself and others. I strive to ensure each individual understands what it is they are trying to achieve; by encouraging the use of endless questions, imagining possible solutions, and ultimately rendering a decision that is clear and concise.
During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I would be happy to assist students with any courses necessary, as I am confident I can help them learn. In my experiences, I have found the best way to fascilitate the learning of mathematics is through visual instruction via a whiteboard and/or blackboard. After the student sees an example of a problem done, I like to sit down with the tutee and have them walk me through the problems to make sure they have a good understanding of both the way to do the problem as well as a stron conceptual understanding of the material.
I have tutored at a Learning Center at Shippensburg University for the past two years.
