Our memories are largely associative in nature. Therefore, providing connections from new concepts back to well established ones increases our retention and recall. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to find the best way to relate the given information to the student. Not everyone learns the same way. I will find what makes the most sense to the student and help them understand the given information. Throughout my education, I sometimes just wanted a different approach to the information. I would ask others their opionions and things all of a sudden were clear. That is what I want for my students.
I have been involved in tutoring many of my peers throughout high school and college. I find it very rewarding to help others succeed in their education. Many of my peers just needed a different way to have the information presented to them. They needed to be outside of the classroom. They needed to feel comfortable. Teaching position is a great way of showing that one cares for the learner and for the way everyone learns. I tutored various levels of French classes and my priority was not the money. Even now, I would often tutor French classes for free, because of my love for the language and also in order to help other French students exceed in their class.
