Once taught a 7 year-old Korean boy Chinese when I was a sophomore---I found being a personal tutor is challenging and interesting, because you should adjust your teaching method cater to the student based on your observation on him/her as well as the communication through all the process. Learning should be fun. I strive to make a point of this when ever I teach. I do this in both lectures and tests. I find a little humor takes the edge off test taking and allows the student to concentrate on the subject matter without being nervous.
I have taught Accounting courses at a JC and Business College in the St. louis area. I also taught Accounting and Finance courses at a Business College in Raleigh, NC. I enjoyed the experience and look forward to continuing.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my senior year at Kalamazoo College I tutored in the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), as well as designing the curriculum for and delivering a free class in the same topic. I graduated as the top Philosophy student in my class after serving as an Honors Teaching Assistant in Philosophy of Law, and then continued on to undergo summer training with Teach For America.
