In high school and throughout my college career, I have tutored many ages- varying from age 8 to age 30. I've earned a BA in English from Kent State University in 2007, and it has helped me to understand the importance of literacy in young adults as well as continuing education. I worked at the Ohio Literacy Resource Center as a tutor for college students, and have been involved with Junior Achievement and tutored French to third grade students for both Garfield Elementary School and Ella Canavan Elementary School in Medina, Ohio during high school.

I love teaching and working with students. I feel that there is a way to educate and student, no mare how severe his/her problems, so long as I, the tutor, am willing to adjust my teaching style to his/her personality and/or learning problem. All struggling students can fulfill their educational goals so long as they are willing to put for the effort required and I as their tutor am there to guide them.
