My education involve intensive studies in both the fine arts and theater. I went from basic drawing and design, to painting, building models, to paintings set for theater. I worked in 10 productions for Subversive Theater Collective and was a volunteer coordinator for an arts festival while living in Buffalo. I'm currently working with my fiance's in his film "Receptions," as both scenic artist and actress. Creativity is a major passion of mine for many year and I to pass my skills down to you.

After graduating from Ithaca College cum laude, I completed my B.S. in Speech Language Pathology in 2 and 1/2 years. Before I was able to tutor, I taught 7 year old girls cheerleading. When I began to tutor, I enjoyed being one on one with the child. I am very patient, punctual and considerate. I know children that need extra help need extra time. I find it personally rewarding to supplament a child's education. I also believe it is easier for a child to ask questions when they are one on one with an educator.
Beginning in high school I found myself driven to help children in need. All children and adolescents can successfully acquire and process new information. Many students encounter difficulty learning in a traditional school setting because the large class sizes do not afford the teacher the time to learn about each individual and attend to his or her specific needs.
