Violin is one of my top subjects! I have been taking violin for many years and teaching for many years. I was Suzuki trained and because of this am very knowledgeable of the method. I hope to get my Liscense in teaching it one day.

I have always been a curious person and even as an adult I enjoy learning. As a result, I have a passion for sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I earned my BA in German with a minor in music. My interest in the German language began as a child when my mother took a military assignment to Germany. A Little Bit About Me...

As a young musician, I began playing violin at the age of 9 and at the age of 14, I began learning piano. By age 15 I toured Austria and Germany with my high school orchestra and by age 16 I had composed my first symphony entitled Seven Emotions. At age 17, I performed at Carnegie Hall and went on to tour in Italy, again on invitational with my high school orchestra. In addition to this, I have a 1.5 years experience as a private music instructor as well as a BS in Music Business and Recording Arts.
I have always loved teaching children the skills to become a musician. Playing music can inspire children to be creative and expressive. I believe that the success of a young musician is based on learning discipline in performance as well as skills to enhance their overall individual talent.
