Chemistry is one of my top subjects!

I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. I have also coached 4H horse quiz bowl and horse judging teams for several years working with elementary and middle school age children.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a former computer instructor, I can't tell you how much I miss teaching. Teaching was the one career in my life where I felt completely fulfilled. I truly love sharing my knowledge and being able to teach others. In addition to teaching, I am also a lifelong student. I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, an Associates Degree in Website Design and I am working towards an Associates Degree in Computer Programming. One thing I learned about teaching is that I never fail to learn something new, whether it be from a challenging question a student asks, or insight from a student that puts a new idea into my perspective. A Little Bit About Me...

I have extensive experience in academic work, specifically in the areas of math and science. In earning both a BS and MS in Materials Science and Engineering, I not only developed an understanding of mathematical and scientific principles, but I learned how to work and communicate in groups to further common interests.
