My teaching methods are structured and developed for each individual person. I believe that there are many ways to teach a student. The key to successful teaching is finding out how your student learns; auditory, visual, didactic or with a combination of learning styles. I use a combination of visual and didactic aids in my lectures. I encourage an environment where questions are welcomed. I want students to not just learn the material but understand it as well. A Little Bit About Me...

At Millsaps, I was a member of Beta Beta Beta which is a biology honor society. As a member, I was responsible for tutoring underclassmen for two years. I spent much of my time at Millsaps coming up with a system of studying and organization which I shared with numerous others. Teaching others is most effective when you can convince someone that the material is actually easy. That is what I do. I make it as easy as possible by organizing the material in a way which shows the student that the material isn't infinite. We then chip away at it. This has proven to be most effective for me as a teacher to keep the student motivated and even excited.
