I enjoy teaching Mathematics and helping students realize their true potential. I am not a 'mathematician' , I am a teacher who understands math, so my teaching style is very student centered. My focus is to simplify math concepts to the level of each student for better understanding. Mathematics can be very intimidating to students so my goal as a teacher is to help students gain confidence in their skills and have a positive learning experience.
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Secondary Education and a BS in Business Administration. My education major is in spanish but I am also certified to teach Mathematics. The majority of my teaching experience is in Mathematics. I am currently an 8th grade Pre-Algebra teacher and also work teaching Algebra at Pima Community College. I have tutored students in spanish and math for over 10 years.

I also earned a Masters degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in Business Administration.I have studied Physics at the High Schppl level.I have an experience of more than three years in teaching different subjects at different grade levels. I have taught General Science which includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to students of grade sixth, seventh and eighth.
