Painting is one of my top subjects! Strongest in watercolor, but college level experience in Oil as well.

As necessary in art, I am a very hands on teacher. I believe that actually doing is the best way (for the majority of children) to not just learn, but retain. I enjoy including art history and real life examples alongside activities, making them enjoyable and relevant. Every child is different, and I always adapt to a child's need and interests to help them achieve the most.
I have experience in both traditional, formal (private and public)teaching settings, along with being a nanny/babysitter, Montessori aid, and camp counselor. My experience teaching and working with children started in high school and continues to present day. I have been expanding my knowledge of and technical abolity in art as long as I can remember. After taking Advanced Placement art classes in high school and seperate college courses in drawing, I attended Brandeis University and graduated with Fine Arts degree. My specialty was oil painting, but I also was able to advance my drawing, scultping, digital photography, and printmaking skills.
