A Little Bit About Me...

Classical violin training, I believe, is more effective than Suzuki. In language acquisition, I can work with a student to simulate immersion in a foreign language, or create building blocks towards thinking like a fluent/native speaker.
Linguist, historian,violinist, and polyglot. I speak English, Vietnamese,French, German, and Turkish. Out of these languages I feel I can teach English, German, and Turkish. German is one of my top subjects! I first learned German in 1999, when I moved to Luxembourg. School was mostly in German, in High School, most my classes were in French or German. I have made regular trips to Germany and I am used to watching TV in German. I have no problem understanding and speaking it. If you need help with your basics, it would be my pleasure to help you. French is my mother tongue, I have been speaking it for about 24 years. Beside French I also speak German (since 1999), Luxembourgish (1999) and English (2004). All my school years have been in French and German, therefore I am extremely comfortable speaking and writing french. As a native french speaker, I do not have an accent when speaking french. More About This Tutor...

I first discovered my love of teaching when I was in the Boy Scouts teaching younger scouts skills like building a fire or pitching a tent. In high school, I would tutor my classmates in English, a subject in which I have always excelled. I am most interested in studying history and geography, and I long to share what I have learned. I was a student for six months in Germany and the Czech Republic and can speak fluent German. I have experience teaching guitar lessons, and I am patient and understanding.
