I have had two National Institute of Health fellowships in the past three years at the Medical University of South Carolina and Washington State University. I have also published research articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Natural Products and Tetrahedron letters and two more in the publication process. I do have a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2005 and a First Class BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I have taught chemistry to numerous students from high school in Nigeria to undergraduates at the University of Iowa, USA, for over 7 years. There are few things more rewarding then seeing it all "click." I like to use diagrams and real life situations to explain subjects.
