Basic Learning Skills is one of my top subjects! My degree is in Elementary Education. I was also a pre-school teacher for approximately 2 years, so I am familiar with pre-writing skills to the elementary level. I've also taught all subjects in the 4th and 5th grade level, such as math, science, guided reading, writing and social studies.

Utilizing multiple intelligences to aid in tutoring students is important to helping all students improve their skills in all disciplines. Patience, perseverance and a sense of humor along with supporting not only the student, but the family is very important. Tutoring is a way to address the specific needs of the student when it's not possible to do one on one teaching sessions when the student needs more time on task.

Hi, my name is Joshua Morales.

My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems and I had to learn to learn to be able to graduate.

I let students asks all the questions they want if for some reason I don't have the answer I will look it up.
I started working as a computer programmer. Then I became a computer operator/programmer using a main frame computer. I was in charge of all computer operations and I was also assigned programming projects. I also did a great deal of program testing and documentation. I also worked as a tutor at community college.
