My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : Starting with the strengthening of their spelling & grammar, I then encourage neatness & structure, then encourage creativity to flow on to their papers.

I received my degree in Early Childhood Development & Child Psychology in 1999. I tutored children from homeless shelters for 2 years. As I began helping & teaching my two daughters in every subject, and saw how well they were doing, I realized I could help so many other children. I then began teaching, tutoring & learning from pre-kinder to high school classes/students from that point to present. As for my daughters, one is a pre-med student in college & the other attends a health magnet. I have been a private tutor for the past two years. In that time I helped a student who had dropped out of high school learn all of the necessary skills required to excel at the new GED test. He achieved honors on the Math and Science portions and scored very well on the Reasoning through the Language Arts and Social Studies sections. In October I helped him study for his ACT. He scored a 23 on the ACT and with his GED-High School Equivalent GPA of 4.0 he was accepted to New Mexico State University and plans to obtain a Masters in International Relations.
