I have one year left of school, which will consist of two semesters of student teaching in the area of my choice. I have already completed more than 100 hours of observation, volunteering, and instruction in the public school system. I have a specialization in American History and Mathematics. I have also completed four semesters of American Sign Language courses and an interpreting course. I have several years experience in tutoring and grading at the college level in the areas of history, mathematics, and American Sign Language. Additionally, I have several years experiences working with students with disabilities. I have also earned a TASC certification in sign language.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors degree in Speech and certifications in Special Education and American Sign Language. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have twenty-one years teaching experience in public education. Six of those years were in special education, and fifteen have been teaching American Sign Language levels I, II, and III at the high school level. I have over twenty years experience interpreting worship services for the deaf at my church. I have three years experience doing in-home tutoring in American Sign Language.
