After 10 years as a portrait photographer, having learned to correct, retouch, and manipulate photos with Photoshop, I entered the graphic design field. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I have 15 years of teaching experience and 3 years of tutoring experience of French and Spanish, so if you're looking for someone with experience and knowledge of students' common struggles, I'm the tutor you're looking for!

I am energetic and enthusiastic and try to motivate my students to learn to appreciate a new language and culture. Once I have worked with a student for a few sessions, I am able to ascertain which particular issues that the student is having with the language; for example, if he or she struggles with grammar, listening comprehension or speaking. After we have identified the student's particular struggle, I use techniques to motivate students in which areas cause them the most difficulties.
I taught high school for 16 years and left the traditional classroom about 4 years ago to become a tutor. I have tutored both privately and for corporations, usually on a one-on-one basis and have really enjoyed the change from teaching many students at a time to tutoring students individually or in small groups.
