My teaching style is very hands on. I like to work the problems out with the students and show them how to do each step. I love questions and I love for the student to fully understand. I want the student to fully comprehend what they are doing. If not, they will never be able to do it without me there. Confidence is key and that can be achieved through repetition and a full understanding.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University in May of 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I completed a wide variety of methods classes and classroom observations, as well as practicum and student teaching in 5th and 2nd grade respectively. My favorite part about teaching is when I see the "light bulb" go on in a child's mind and there is excitement about learning.
