As far as I can remember I have always appreciated quality education. As a small boy I remember going to the small local library in Portsmouth, Virginia where the Librarian once said that she knew that if she would only have one patron for the day that it would be me. I have worked in three libraries during my career. During college I was selected as a Librarian Assitant based on my interest, academic achievement and overall poitive conduct at the university. After college later on in my carer after college I worked at both the Main Branch and one of the other locations in the City of Richmond, Virginia. I believe that education is key to success early in life and that a good education make a sound foundation for later success in life. A Little Bit About Me...

Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years.
Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned. I do this primarily by providing examples of information taught and require my students to do the same. My approach to teaching is to create a friendly environment with positive expectations to enhance the learning experience.
