I believe that all children should learn no matter what their ability or disability may be. There should be passionate teachers in the field to be able to take on the responsibility of helping children reach their full potential. As an educator, I nurture my students and provide an emotionally, stable atmosphere while maintaining high expectations for all. My goal is to instill the love and passion of learning in every student that I teach. I do not want to touch one life; I want to touch the life of every child that walks through my classroom door. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it.
