Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! Math was always my strongest subject. Sadly many children struggle with math and the US places very low compared to the rest of the world in Math scores. I have studies the curriculum used in Singapore to understand why their students test so high. I can help your child master math.

A student cannot learn unless he is comfortable and confident. My first priority before teaching is to make sure the student is relaxed and believes he can accomplish the goal. My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have excelled in math since a very early age. I also love to and am very good at working with children. I am patient, and understand how to explain concepts so they can better relate to the math even though it may seem arbitrary.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems.
