During my years in college, I volunteered regular to tutor students who needed additional help due to the complexity of the subject matter, physical disabilities and/or mental disabilities. In my high school years, I graduated Valedictorian from Heritage Academy and took several AP courses in my senior year such as Calculus, Physics and English. I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well. Our school has implemented a plan in which Resource staff tutors daily. I tutor grades 3-5 in areas of Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts.
