I was raised in Japan till age of 9, so my first language is Japanese. After I came to the United States, I went to Japanese school to keep up my native Japanese skills. (The school I went, Asahi-Gakuen is targeted for students that may go back to Japan. They use same textbook as schools in Japan and almost same pase of teaching)
I believe that being too serious about learning is not the only way to be successful. I would like to teach Japanese in fun and enjoying style.

My comments on tutoring Japanese : 5 on AP Japanese in high school. Also speak Japanese at home.

I prefer one on one tutoring so I can adjust how I tutor to each students needs, but I have also done group tutoring before. All in all, I personally want to work in whatever environment will help the student learn most effectively.
Tutored many students during high school and I am currently a 1st year Chemical Engineering student at University of California, Berkeley. In high school, I tutored AP Chemistry, many levels of math, and many other science courses often. I also worked with younger students in middle school on many of the general subjects.
