Marine Biology is one of my top subjects! A concentrated survey of how biological/living organisms work within a dynamic marine environment. Subjects Include: Taxonomy, Behavior, Nutrition, Reproduction, and Environment/Ecology.

I have professional background as a field biologist and a GIS analyst. I have applied my knowledge of both scientific disciplines to support my survey findings and convey them in report form. In addition to my professional background, I have 20 years experience in teaching karate and 10 years teaching SCUBA diving.
My teaching style is a combination of teaching by example and using the Socratic method inorder to challenge the student to think beyond the surface. I think that allowing the student to think through the process and analyze the problem it allows them to better internalize what they are learning.

I started professionally tutoring students younger than me when I was a junior and continued until I graduated college.
