A Little Bit About Me...

While at Springfield College I started tutoring some of my fellow students in the areas of math and science for a little extra cash. I have always wanted to mimic the kind of tutoring I received as a struggling math student in middle school. I was never the best at math until I started to receive tutoring and everything started to click. The extra help I got in math was essential to my studies at the university level and all my previous coursework leading up. I want to be that tutor who helped everything click.
When I tutor I try and understand where they are having trouble and try to find the best way of explaining in a way that is beneficial to the student.

I am a graduate of Western Illinois University, and I am excited to be starting my teaching career. I have earned a bachelor degree in Elementary Education and have received my teaching certificate for Elementary (K-9).
