I had no intention of teaching when I started my career in Psychology and the Analytical Chemistry industry. I continuously tried to improve my methadology to arrive at the right mix of stimulation and information to make the learning process as interesting as possible. Teaching the Physics of Xrays and chemical analysis does challenge one to keep assessing the learned content and modify as results indicate. The results of effective teaching and learning start with asking questions about the purpose of the instructions, how will the results of the learning be measured, and what is educational level of the students? My name is Qiqi Peng. I am a current graduate of University of California, Berkeley and a past graduate of Modesto Junior College. I just earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in May 2009 at UC Berkeley. I also had an Associate of Art degree in Chemistry and Behavioral & Social Science in Aug 2007 at Modesto Junior College. From Feb 2006 to Aug 2007, I worked at the tutoring center of Modesto Junior College as a math/chemistry tutor.
