Taught English while living in Colombia, very easy for me to teach Spanish as it is my native language, also my Spanish is very neutral no strong accent at all. I have always been passionate about education. I pursued a double bachelor's degree in English and Spanish with the hopes of teaching the subjects one day. Indeed, I will, as in the fall I will begin graduate school to obtain my Masters in Spanish Secondary Education. I love children. I love teaching children new things. I have great patience. I love helping children reach their full potential and discover new things. I find that teaching is as much about getting to know each person, finding there strengths and weaknesses and using those to benefit them in their process of understanding. I like to come up with creative approaches that will suit each individual's strengths for learning. I know that one on one attention, support and encouragement is a large component of what is missing in a lot of today's public school classrooms and love the opportunity that tutoring can provide to children who can learn just as well as anyone else, but may not be finding success in the classroom.
