The individual needs of the student will direct my teaching strategies. I make every effort to be student centered. For example, "what is the best way to help this person understand reading comprehension?". Students have varying apptitudes and well as strengths and sometimes, weaknesses. Helping children work through learning issues is my passion.

When working from my office, I like to use hands on activities that keep children engaged. I recently relocated to the Huntersville area. I recently graduated from UNCW with a degreee in Psychology with a focus on children. Since middle school, working with children has been my passion.
