Having completed my B.A. in Mathematics, with a minor in adolescent education, a Computer Science degree, and graduating with a 3.65 GPA, and a 4.0 in content has fueled my success. Combining that with presently finishing my Masters in Teaching with Technology, three years of teaching mathematics and 5 years of tutoring experience, in which I tutored several subjects I feel that I have a lot to add to the success of students. I enjoy tutoring enough to do it for free, which I have done for my friends from time to time. I’m a friendly laid back person who loves to learn and help others learn, particularly in a one on one setting. I’m quite good at breaking a subject down into an understandable step by step process and making sure they not only know the answers, but how and why they got the answers. I’m good with kids and often would rather be with them instead of adults.

I thoroughly enjoy working with children. In addition to help raise my own children, I have coached from the elementary to the high school level for close to 20 years. Also, during a leave from work for medical reasons, I served as a substitute teacher in the local school district.
