I analyze the situation, differentiate between teaching strategies and implement the most effective one. My success goes beyond the actual lessons or my experience. It's is due to the fact that I truly love teaching, thrive on the positive interactions and maintain high expectations for myself and the student. I am very flexible, patient and knowledgeable. I believe that each student is unique. Therefore, a variety of teaching methods within a supportive learning environment are required to address each student's uniqueness. I have found that students relate to analogies, practical examples, discovery, computer simulations, and real life applications as opposed to straight memorization of content. Above all, the optimal blend of patience and guidance are required to motivate each student to achieve success. I have worked in a variety of educational roles and have experienced that, as an educator, there is no greater feeling than to see a student's eyes light up after a concept is grasped. For me, this is the ultimate achievement of student success!
My experiences in schools, hospitals and business provide me with the diversity to instruct students in subjects, such as math, general science, biology, business concepts and English ... read more

Most Importantly, I make sure that the students have the fundamental concepts jotted down in their armory to crack any exam/problem. I also make sure that the students maintain the same proficiency in the subject for years to come.

A Little Bit About Me...

I truly enjoy working with children, teenagers, and adults. I know that every person is unique, so I try to learn some things about my client before developing a teaching plan that will lead to academic success.
I graduated with a biology degree, but have a great understanding of all sciences and maths. In addition, I am successful in completing research papers, lab reports, and creative writing tasks. While in school, I managed to complete my own work and help others gain knowledge of the given topic. Now, as a graduate and stay-at-home mother, I have began tutoring. I strongly believe in the importance of all learning experiences.

A Little Bit About Me...

The hardest thing about teaching is determining how the individual student learns. I have found that all people learn differently so it is best to understand this process to make the teaching more effective. I like to challenge the individuals I tutor. I believe individuals perform best when they have to work hard for success. At the same time, I am easy-going, amiable and tend to get along with many different types of individuals.
I graduated from UW-Madison with a Finance degree and my MBA degree with an Investment Management focus at UW-Milwaukee in December of 2009. I tutored for nearly two years while at UW-Madison and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have current knowledge of financial concepts as I am currently enrolled in school and I believe this current knowledge would be an asset in aiding a student learn some of the financial concepts out there.
