I have private tutored almost all throughout college, mostly because I had many international friends in desperate need for English help. I taught English in Korea; the first 5 months being beginner English (to preschool to fourth graders) and the last 7 months I taught actual subjects children in America learn but at advanced levels (from 3rd grade to late middle school). The way I teach is different for every grade level. I check out the book, get to know the student and find a path to which the child can learn easily and find the subject interesting, no matter who the student is. I don't give up easily. I have been a foreign language teacher and tutor for 25 years (including English, reading and writing). I have taught all levels, all ages, mostly French (my mother tongue), German (my second mother tongue) Hebrew and English. I taught in private schools - 3rd to 12th grades - and in the public sector too: middle and high schools. I was an exceptionally driven high school student, taking the most difficult schedule my small private school would offer. My course work included AP calculus and AP US government, on both exams I received good marks. In college I studied a wide variety of classes in pursuit of a degree in the liberal arts. My main foci were history, foreign languages and English literature and grammar while maintaining a love for the sciences and mathematics.
