I thoroughly enjoy one to one time teaching reading to my students. Discovering what interests them is exciting! I have taught in both public and private school settings. In the public school setting I was a Resource Room Teacher for students with varied learning and behavior needs. I was responsible for writing and implementing each student's IEP's. In addition I created an optimal learning environment for them. In the private setting I taught for a number of years one to one reading instruction for elementary age students. I have also taught and facilitated lessons at a private children's Hands On Science Center.
