Currently a sophomore in High School, I'm looking to tutor up to around the 6-7th grade levels. I have very much experience in science especially. Currently in biology Honors. Math, Science, Civics, and Art are my main specialties. For a cheaper rate, I also love to teach art. Also language-wise. I have a year of French, as well as a semi-year of Spanish that I can teach beginners, perhaps give them a head start on what is to be in High School. I delight in helping students to acquire new knowledge and there is satisfaction in having students thank the teacher after a class. I love learning math and science and I enjoy sharing the same love of learning with my students. I like seeing the look on their face when they really get it! Students requiring tutoring are sometimes in academic distress and have anxiety therefore I have a more easy going and patient style of tutoring than most. I believe I'm an effective tutor because I remember the exact same difficulties and questions I had as a student and can relate to their frustration.
