I lived in Costa Rica in for 25 years and my Spanish is excellent. Because Spanish is my 2nd language I have some keen insights into how best to attack the grammar. I taught English as a second language while in Costa Rica and I have been teaching in a Dual language Program for the past 8 years. I feel competent to tutor students in the area of Spanish at all levels and to help Spanish speakers with their English skills.

This revelation didn’t come in my writing courses in high school or college but when I taught my four children to read and write. Now that they’re all in college or graduated from college, I once again became available for tutoring.
