As a graduate of Jacksonville University, I feel I received an excellent education and want to give back to the community. There is not enough emphasis placed on education as it was during my growing up years. I fear that the focus has turned and it is centered on sports not academics. I feel there can be a happy medium reach in which students can get and experience the best of both worlds.
