My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Highly skilled in the use of Article of the Week as a means of demonstrating steps to achieve reading comprehension.

I have 15 years of experience teaching students at all ages and all ability levels. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Teaching. I am certified and highly qualified to teach English and History at the 6-12 grade level (and college). I am also certified and highly qualified to teach students with Emotional Impairments and Learning Disabilities. A great deal of my teaching career has been spent educating students in lock-down juvenile detention settings. I was an Assistant Principal in a middle school for four years, and a teacher consultant for 30 years. In my role as a teacher consultant, I tutored students primarily in the high school.
