I know everyone learns in different ways, so I have found the best way to make someone understand is to put it in terms of something they understand, whether it be sports, chess, movies, anything. This allows them to relate to the material much faster and retain it much longer. Once they grasp the general concept, introducing details and new ideas becomes much easier.
In high school and college, part of the community service that I performed was tutoring elementary school kids in math. My BS in finance has given me ample experience and knowledge in the field as well as improved my math and reasoning skills.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school years I already had a particular interest in Accounting classes. In fact the high school diploma that I earned was in Accounting and Financial Management. When I reached the college level I decided to major in Economics, which was the broader continuation of my field in High School, this enabled me to gain some understanding in unknown areas such as Microeconomics or Statistics, and to increase my knowledge in Accounting or Finance.
