As an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to work as a tutor in the Writing Center of Andrews University. I assisted both undergraduate and graduate students and community members with various essays and papers, concentrating on grammatical correctness and content development. I also worked as the Ceramics Director at Camp Au Sable Youth Camp in Grayling, MI, teaching kids, teenagers and adult campers ceramics and managing the ceramics department. A Little Bit About Me...

Though I have a degree in classroom education, one-on-one teaching is my heartbeat. I believe it is the highest good for a student's learning. It prevents your student from getting "lost in the crowd" and allows us to focus on his or her needs. My first goal is to determine how the student learns. Using creative strategies and different methods, I do my best to take a confusing or frustrating subject and make it understandable, if not enjoyable.

I am currently a Senior at Bethel College. I will recieve a bachelor's in Psychology at May 1, 2011. I have been tutoring since the summer of 2010. I tutored pre-algebra this summer during my internship at Bashor Children's Home in Goshen Indiana. I am currently tutoring College Pre-Algebra at Bethel College. I have excelled in Written Communications 3, Reseach Methods, College Statistics, and the psychology courses that I have taken. I have also taken 4.5 years of Spanish.
