I am a certified teacher. I have taught for 11 years and have taught first through eighth grades. I enjoy teaching reading and writing to everyone. Hi! I'm looking forward to working this summer, and I am especially excited about the opportunity to tutor online! I graduated from TJ High in 2011, and I'm now attending High Point University as a Strategic Communication and Human Relations double major. I am also working toward a minor in Marketing. Throughout high school, I earned a 3.92 grade point average, which means in my 8 semesters, I only finished 2 classes with a grade lower than A. During this time, I took 7 AP courses (World History, Psychology, US History, Calculus AB/BC, Literature, Environmental Science, and European History), which allowed me to enter college more than a semester ahead of most of my peers.

I have been tutoring for the past five years. I have tutored a large variety of students including high school, middle school, and elementary school students. The way how I run my classes are first we do a warm up on the subject that I will be teaching and then I will teach the student a lesson. After teaching the student I will give them practice and let them answer any questions. And then towards the end of the class, I will give them a mini quiz where to understand the strength and weaknesses.
