For instance, If I have a student who hates to read, I find reading material on a subject they do enjoy (such as Professional Wrestling). I graduated with a BA in French and Elementary Education and taught for 4 years in multi-age classrooms. Then I tutored while I stayed home with my children. I resumed teaching 1995 and earned an MAT in Elementary Education in 1998. My experience continued in multi-age classrooms where I taught reading, math, English, handwriting, science, social studies, P.E., art, and music for grades 1-6.
