I am a recent graduate from Yale School of Art where I received my Masters of Fine Art in Painting/Printmaking. Before attending Yale I went to Asbury University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Studio Art. I have experience teaching painting and drawing classes. My work ranges from painting, video, sculpture and installation. I have shown throughout Kentucky, Ohio and Connecticut. In 2014 I will be going to Iceland for a residency at Hafnarborg Museum, as well as Vermont to the Vermont Studio Center. As a graduate of City college. I majored in Elementry Education and I minored in Psychology. My major taught be about math science, social studties etc.,but my minored showed me how to reach inside the mine of a child. I studied all of the psychologist, they helped me to look at the whole child,showing me all the stages that children go through. This went will with my major not only am I able to teach the basic, I am able to help the child grow into a strong individual.
I love working with children, when they learn something new it still gives me goose bumbs, as a teacher it is important that we focus on all learning styles, because each child learns differently.
