Thanks for reading my profile. I have tutored French and Spanish at my community college. I have conducted "baby groups" for children 6 mo. - 1 yr in a multi-lingual center for children where I worked in Moscow for three years. I have taught groups of adults English as a Second Language at Inlingua language school in DC. I have taught middle school Russian and Critical Thinking, and college first year Russian while in graduate school. During my past three years at St. John Fisher College I have been actively engaged in the chemistry department. Each student learns in a different way, whether visually, aurally, kinesthetically, subconsciously, or simply by rote. I find that it is necessary to try each option with all students. I feel that the trouble that many students may have is that they operate differently from the rest of their peers and simply need a different approach to learning material.
