I was a career information counselor for Marsing High School, Idaho, for grades 7th through 12th. I am a single mom of a 14-year-old son and have also volunteered with the African Women’s Coalition to tutor African Refugee children. Working with the children transformed my life and taught me the importance of knowledge.
