I love teaching and I have worked with adults and children of all ages. I have taught different genres to adults and children. I recently taught a dance class to both adults and children. My teaching style relates a student's life experiences to the their tasks. A student's building blocks that bridge the gap to learning is the constructivist approach. This process has a greater retention rate.My philisophy is that everyone is a learner and has the potential for success. Learners discover the a hah when they take ownership for the learning process. I have been at Fccj for a little over two years. I have studied and mastered a variety of subjects. I am starting JU next summer to earn my BSN. I currently have my AA degree in nursing.I've spent a lot of time in the student life and leadership department that works one on one with students to help them with college success. I would say that my teaching style varies depending onthe person I am teaching. There are several ways that people respond to in order for them to understand. I thik that everyone has a unique teaching style but still needs to be flexible in order to help the student understand.
