A Little Bit About Me...

I have a recent Bachelor's in Accounting, as well as 15+ years of accounting experience in both private and non-profit settings. While working at Thornhill Education Center, I had the opportunity to work with students and help teach GED classes. My main focus was math. I also had the opportunity to teach a level 1 accounting class for community education.
I don't think I have really developed a "unique style" by only teaching a year or so. I am a very patient person and I really like to see the "sparkle" in a students eye, when they truly understand something for the 1st time. I like to explain a concept and then give the student a problem and see if they get it. If not, I will go over as many times necessary...until they understand the material.

I believe there is a lock to everyone's key. In order to be successful tutor, you have to understand what the student needs and then deliver exactly that at the right time and in the right amount. My goal is provide the best tutoring experience for my students, help them achieve their goals and targets in School so they can feel great about themselves. I remember the teachers who the biggest impact on me and what I remember the most about them is their willingness to listem to me, work with my learning style and help me achieve my best.
