After earning my B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition Science, I was able to experience the use of science and mathematics in basic research, government service, and private industry. With this practical application of the sciences and math I understand the need of a student to grasp the basic concepts and principles in order to build an intellectual foundation. I'm just there to guide, explain, provide details, clarify, relate new information to existing knowledge, etc. The student has to be "in charge," so to speak. A Little Bit About Me...

As a young college student I understand that my experience doesn't compare to those with degrees and much time doing it. But I know that being an older sister to younger brothers and sisters while helping them with homework and watching them grow up is a type of tutoring. I have been there for all my brothers milestones, when he learned how to walk, learned to talk, and started to learn to read. I am very proud to say that I have been there every step of the way.
