At the University of Massachusetts I exceled in Math and Science classes. I orginally planned on being a Math major but chenged course after taking an Environmental policy class. As a law student, I have been committed to the public interest. I have focused my attenion on environmental issues. I would define my teaching style as hands on. If I can find a real life example of the material at hand, I will use it. I love to work on whiteboards/ chalkboards with students. This way they are out of their seat and showing me what they know. I am very willing to bend to any style of learning. Playing games, creating flashcards, repetitive drilling of information. Some students also learn better when they have oral stimulation such as chewing or sucking on candy. As long as the students learn the information and can remember it, then I am happy and confident.
