My tutoring experience has mainly been with college students which I have become very fond of doing. I look to this an advantage because I believe it makes me better able to work with high school students since the high school students will learn at a slower pace than most college students. I am a patient person and I know that by pacing yourself a person can learn much better. I graduated from Liberty University in May 2009 with a BS in Accounting. I am currently and have been a substitute teacher in Bedford County for the 2009-2010 school year. I have substituted for grades 6-12. I have been a football coach at Liberty High School for 3 years and I have been a track & field coach at Liberty High School for 5 years. I have helped different types of students away from school in various subjects. I love math and I am in the process of completing the requirements to gain a teaching license to teach high school math.

I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens.
