I also participated in the Junior Achievement program in the Piedmont NC region for over 5 years. I am currently a tutor with the "No Child Left Behind Program."
I am a disciplinarian. I have an excellent ability to gain a students attention, keep it and the results of my students have been well above average. I begin by observing the person. In which areas are they confident and strong? In which areas are they fearful and using avoidance? I then find a bridge from their place of confidence to their place of fear and coax them across until they are happily skipping across.
